An engineering company with its own workshop in Illescas.
Antonio Cachinero founded Antonio Cachinero & Asociados in 1998 to build flight cases and structures for the audiovisual world: tours, TV studios, stadiums and exhibition centres. Over the years we added a design office, structural analysis and large-format manufacturing, and made the leap into industry: technical containers, integration fixtures and rugged cases for space, defence and aerospace.
For a long time we worked under the CASENRUN brand. In 2026, Grupo SIL acquires Antonio Cachinero and integrated it into Grupo SIL AED, its aerospace and defence division, as its industrialisation and engineering design company. With that step, all our activity operates as CACHINERO Soluciones Industriales: the same workshop, the same team and the same phone number, backed by a technology group with €140 million in revenue.

Grupo SIL is a Spanish technology group with more than 35 years in the IT market. In 2026 it created Grupo SIL AED to move into aerospace and defence, and chose Antonio Cachinero to design and build what that venture needs on the ground.

- 1998
The company is founded
Antonio Cachinero founds Antonio Cachinero & Asociados to build flight cases and structures for the audiovisual sector.
- 2003
First patent
Our own design of sealed, insulated aluminium and sandwich-panel containers for cleanrooms.
- 2014
Large structures
Screens and flown sound systems for the CEPSA building, CaixaForum, IFEMA, Telemadrid, the DGT and the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
- 2023
Flight hardware
Containers for the flight units of the European Space Agency's PLATO mission, for INTA.

An orbital launcher
Transport container for the first stage of PLD Space's Miura 5.

Grupo SIL AED
Grupo SIL acquires Antonio Cachinero, which becomes part of Grupo SIL AED as its industrialisation and engineering design company.
